"I joined the Ridley Academy 2 years ago after seeing the AD’s on YouTube, and I have been in the Mentorship program for the last year. Before this I haven’t really played much piano for 20 years and I was immediately thrilled by the excitement in Stephen’s personality. I knew that the best way to improve my artistic expressions was to get my mojo back and bring the fun back in. The Ridley Academy has definitely delivered even if I was at an advanced level before joining (I did play in 8 weddings 25 years ago), and I have experienced huge improvements in both singing and playing since I joined.

Yes, I may think that some of the AD’s are bending the truth a little bit, but I take it as they are, sales pitches and see through that. What really got me joining was the excitement and spirit. There is nothing that gives you more of a thrill and boost of confidence than a person with Stephen’s personality telling you do this and do that. He certainly brings happiness into our lives, and that’s more important than anything else when you want to do something. This goes to other parts of my life as well and I will go so far as to say that Ridley Academy has improved my life quality overall.

It has been exciting to not only observe my own development but also how the Academy has grown. I see they improve over and over and they take their feedback seriously to improve and give everyone a better experience. As an emerging company I acknowledge their shortcomings and support response line has not always been the best, but I am certain they will improve on this in the future given their amazing track record of improving everything else so far.

Joining the Ridley Academy Mentorship program has been one of the best decisions in my life. There is so much personal feedback, group sessions, competitions and challenges that you will have your hands busy with excitement for a long time and suddenly a year has lapsed so fast that you didn’t know where the time went.

The community within the Mentorship program is absolutely amazing, everyone gives each other feedback and raises each other up. It feels so good to be part of that community."
